Government Retirement Pension

Government retirement pension forms an important part of the retirement pension plans in the US. They mostly cover the public sector and also other employees of the related government and federal jobs. Mostly government retirement pension is according to the states and the local governments. Like there are some states where defined contribution retirement pension plans are available instead of the defined-benefit pension plans. There are also some states where the pension plans are also referred to as the Public Employee Retirement Systems (PERS).
