Neighborhood Emergency Response Team Organization

What is the organization of a Neighborhood Emergency Response team?

The Neighborhood Emergency Response Team usually comprises ten members. There is team leader and a safety officer and two persons each in the search and rescue, fire suppression, medical triage and medical treatment team. But this team structure may vary according to the needs of the situation. The team leaders are provided with amateur radios or dedicated telephones or sometimes even runners with bicycles. This ensures that they are in regular touch with the city's emergency centers during hazards and emergencies.
