You cannot cry over spilt milk as they say and my 401K had lost about 30% of it’s value and I had friends that were down 40-50% in their 401K’s. If you were heavy in stocks and did not move them to bonds as you saw the market plummet, you road it down to the bottom and the recovery will be slow. Even though the markets have rebound and many that kept the money in stocks are seeing a recovery.
